This is a plate for those who love to eat meat, this plate has 4 different types on the same plate. It is a little pricey at 550mts but it was very good! Don’t eat the fried banana it was terrible, they should have served platanos instead. This restaurant claims to specialize in Brazilian food at the Baía Mall.

This may not appear to be a lot of food for 160mts but, it is very filling. Order this take away quarter chicken and you are sure to come back for a second visit in Maputo. Eat good, eat cheap, and keep eating.

This high protein breakfast can be eaten while sitting on an outdoor deck. Very comfortable seating and the service was good. Steak and eggs. 270mts.

This hamburger was not the best, but it was very good for a restaurant that specializes in Indian cuisine. 180mts is a very good price. The take away burger is even cheaper.

I like to try the same dish but at different restaurants. This is called the “simple omelet” at this diner in Matola, I will give the name of it later. The cost is 150 Mts a little more than $2.00. You get a lot of food, it was perhaps 3 eggs. However its taste was not as good as Delicia. The restaurant is huge so the seating area is very comfortable. If you are hungry and in Matola you might want to try it for yourself. Be ready to season your own food.

I decided to give Campo Alto a second chance, the pizza arrived at the table within 7min after ordering. Great! The taste was awesome! I will have to make a third visit in the future to see if their service has improved or if they were just having a good day. Stay tuned!

This is the best breakfast in maputo judging by cost, quality, and service. This breakfast is called a simple omelet on the menu. The cost 120 mts or $2.00. The coffee is not included but it is also not very expensive and you get lots of milk with it. This is a great way to start your day!

This is the best place for the cost to have chips or fries in Maputo you get more fries than any other restaurant. A small fries costs 70 mts or $1.05 but is more than enough for one person. An order of large fries can feed 2 people. The sausage is absolutely delicious. Also they serve with each meal a spice to sprinkle over everything. Go and try it out!

I have mixed reviews about Campo Alto, the very first time I was there the pizza and service was awesome! I went back for a second visit, the service was terrible, the pizza was cold and I was left perplexed as to what went wrong. Even still, I have decided to overlook the second visit and rate Campo Alto as the best Margarita Pizza in Maputo for the price, size of pizza and the taste. Although the pizza was cold because of the ingredients used the pizza still tasted good. Not great but good. The cost is 420 Mts or $7.00. Hope I will never have to wait almost an hour for another pizza for the rest of my life.

If you are into eating lots of salads visit this restaurant, they have sausage and hamburgers but I come here to eat the greek salad. One week when I was trying drop a few pounds I ate this greek salad everyday for lunch for a week. The cost is 90 Mts or $1.50. This is the best salad for the best price for this size salad I have found in Maputo. You can order sausage or chicken to eat it separately or cut it up and eat it on top of the salad.
